MATTERS ARISING
New SI boxes were purchased and others repaired. Philip attached clips to 20 more stakes.
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Francis thanked all who helped plan, control and organise events and everyone for attending training on Wednesday nights. He also thanked committee members for their efforts during the year. He gave a special word of thanks to Noel McGovern and Kenny Weir (LVO).
Francis congratulated all those who performed well in 2016. He mentioned in particular Odhran McGoldrick who was selected for NI and performed very well at the JIRC in Scotland.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Jean presented the accounts for the year. Jim proposed that the accounts be accepted and Ciara seconded this. The accounts were signed off by Francis O’Reilly.
FEES
Due to a shortfall in BOF budget the membership fees and levies have been increased for 2017.
COACHING and MAPPING
Raymond said there wasn’t much technical coaching done in 2016. Hopefully this will change in 2017 when Philip, Robbie and Conor start their UKCC L2 orienteering coaching course.
The BEEP test was carried out several times through the year and showed to have a positive impact on fitness levels.
Raymond said maps of Ecclesville and Seskinore, financed by Fermanagh and Omagh Council, were almost finished (mapper Anthony McGonigle) and Allan Bogle was working on the Enniskillen town map.
FIXTURES
There was discussion of arrangements for the NICS 1 event on February 25th. It was agreed to collect £1 from each competitor to cover parking, toilet and shower costs. This included a club subsidy since the actual cost was 2 Euro per person.

Ciara volunteered to plan the NI Sprint in Enniskillen on Sunday June 11th.

EQUIPMENT
Francis agreed that the club trailer could be moved from Gortatole OEC to his house. Equipment needed for events in April, May and June would be stored there as Finlays would be away.
Billy/Conor/Juls are to look for a source of wire strops and connecters to fix SI boxes securely at control sites.

Ciara volunteered to take on the website while Teresa was away. It was decided to give Charlie Reid £50 for his invaluable help in setting up the new website. He continues to give email support.
Sported
The Club joined this project at the request of the F&ODC in November. Before the AGM the required completion of a web based planning tool called Inspiring Impact was addressed by club members. Conor undertook to tidy up final details and forward the completed Plan to Sported to meet their deadline. He also undertook to attend the final gettogether in late March. Juls Hanvey undertook to help finalise the project. Evaluation activity will also be required. RF undertook to engage with any such activity before he leaves for the antipodes.
CASC
Teresa reported that she had received a demand for a Company Tax Return which must be completed online. She has registered and is waiting for a registration key to log in.
The meeting was closed by Francis who thanked all for attending.

CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Francis congratulated all those who performed well in 2015. He mentioned in particular Ciara Largey for selection on the Irish team at the World Orienteering Championships in Scotland and Eibhlin Largey for selection on the SHI in England. Eibhlin also took part in a squad training camp in Norway. FermO members were well represented at the Scottish 6 days and all enjoyed the event.

Jean presented the accounts for the year. These included the fee for the 5 yearly renewal of the Autodownload licence. Jim proposed that the accounts be accepted and Robbie seconded this. The accounts were signed off by Francis O’Reilly.
FEES
Members were informed about the new entry fees for NI events. Levies will be paid to NI from 2016 at the rate of 50% of BOF levies. Raymond explained how money paid into NI was spent.
There was discussion about club entry fees and it was decided to keep them at the same rate as before ie Senior £5 Junior £3 Family £13 (£2 and £1 extra for Senior and Junior non members),
Raymond proposed and Jim seconded this decision.
MEMBERSHIP
Conor briefly explained his role in working with communities and encouraging new members. There was discussion on how to capitalise on this.
A decision was taken to try and organise a 4 week after-school coaching programme for year 7 pupils base at Lakeland Forum. The format would be similar to the previously successful Champion Coaching scheme the club ran some years ago. Conor is to liaise with E’killen primary schools. It is planned to start on 14th April and cost £10.
MAPPING
Raymond will seek funding from NIOA for the mapping of Ely Forest and a revision of the Burren in preparation for hosting the SHI in Autumn 2017.

EQUIPMENT
20 more blue electric fence posts will be purchased along with the SI box clips.
Recently 3 new SI boxes were purchased and 3 others upgraded with batteries. Francis is to service the Generator which may be needed at the Night Champs in Gortin next week.
